It is officially beer o'clock in NZ, y'know. 6pm is time for a cool summer lager to accompany one's BBQ. It's tradition.

NO! That's an Aussie beer, and a bloody awful one at that!

I'm having a Cascade - a beer from Tasmania. :yup:

Hmmm, I always thought bo weevils were the little greeblies that forage in flour sacks and get songs sung about 'em, and boll weevils were some kind of bollock disease.

Learn sum'it new ev'ry day. :yup:

I never cottoned on as to where them bugs came from.

Petra
11-15-2005, 06:36 AM
They came from God, Widget. Heaven sent 'em; cotton-pickin' Heaven, complete with fluffy white balls of stuff that the angels play harp in. :yup:

I'm rillyrilly looking forward to someone cracking that anagram, though. I can't partake anymore, because I now know the answer - and it's a good'un - but I was greatly humoured by Legs' confession that it took her 45 minutes to make up the anagram, and yet she thought that cracking it would be easy for us poor plebs. :giggle:

Dingfod
11-15-2005, 06:40 AM
Hmmm, I always thought bo weevils were the little greeblies that forage in flour sacks and get songs sung about 'em,...Those would be flour beetles (http://www.bug-guy.com/foodandfabric.htm) or grain weevils.
