I saw the second half of it last night. HBO it's not, but I have to say I was really impressed with Tyra Banks. She seems really honest and down to earth, and she faced the demons (the "black bitch" syndrome and the skeleton in a woman suit syndrome) without flinching or drama.
I had seen a few clips of the first season because of an IIDB thread about the atheist contestant, but I hadn't seen Tyra at work. She totally makes the show; the bitchery and hot models factors are secondary, imo.
