This is a peculiar attempt to demand that someone see the site as you do...which is counter to the spirit of freethought, I would think. I've turned off smilies, and I use the ignore function liberally: it's one of the virtues of this site. If people don't berate me about my choices here, I won't pester Livius about deleting the obnoxious smily collection.

Heck, actually, even if you do berate me, I won't pester her about that. That ignore link is awfully handy.
