I first encountered Livius Drusus at IIDB. LD's posts were intelligent and precise. Reading the posts were aha moments for me in a lot of different ways.
I thought I had moved forward as a person. I thought I had progressed beyond the traditional and backward thinking of my ancestors. Now for my admission, I made the assumption that Livius was a male. By coming to this forum, I gradually came to the realization that Liv is not male. To all you wankers who let me refer to Liv as "he" in chat and did not correct me-shame on you!

seriously, you should have just said that since most people are male online you made that mistake. that excuse so makes you sound less sexist.

I chose it when I was a total internet n00b and didn't even think of the gender ambiguity issue, but as soon as I started posting I found I rather liked being assumed to be male. It's far better than the opposite, I assure you, particularly when your aim is discussion rather than socializing.
