This forum has been a long time in making and is the product of many manhours of discussion and research, as well as the combined talents of everyone from discussion board philosophers to avatar artists to vB programmers. We're not just being flowery or diplomatic when we say that the FF as you see it today would never have existed without their massive contributions.
Profuse thanks to:
The FF focus group participants - Blake, Brighid, Brimshack, Clutch, diana, galiel, Godot, HelenM, pescifish, Pomp and Squian - who forced us to make sense when we were just babbling nonsensically.
The JREF and associated forums members - Win, xouper, Pyrrho, slimshady2357, Soubrette, AmateurScientist, gentlehorse and tamiO - who joined us in heated discussions about moderation, free speech and the dynamics of online communities.
The Administrators of IIDB - pescifish, Pomp, Maverick, crazyfingers and The Other Michael - who gave me my first moderation job and allowed my obsessive-compulsive drive to do things right a chance to flourish in a community for which I cared deeply.
The hack creators at vBulletin.org (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/index.php?) - including but not limited to John, Erwin, PcFreak, Boofo, Oblivion Knight, Snowy, tamarian, Pseudomizer, Logician, EvilLS1 - who donate their time and skills so anal non-programmer types like us can have wonderful things like the Arcade, Quick Edit and oodles of smilies in easy to access categories.
Brian at vBadvanced (http://www.vbadvanced.com), who took our wish list of custom features and made them all come true like magic, and did so with such an easy grace that we couldn't stop ourselves from asking him to make just one last itty bitty change.
Josh at nvexio.com, (and vBPanel (http://www.vbpanel.com) and vBStyles (http://www.vbstyles.com)) who made us this fabulous custom style with nothing but a couple of pictures and hours of really annoying nitpicking from yours truly and never once complained about it (except for that one time he asked me if I wanted him to bake me a cake too, but that was really more of a chuckle than a complaint ;)).
Our magnificent avatar artists - Scotty, Adora and freemonkey - who with generous good cheer made us the coolest gallery ever (http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/faq.php?faq=faq_freethoughtforum#faq_vb_avatar_how) just 'cause we asked them to.
deviantARTists Zikes (http://zikes.deviantart.com/), darkmoon3636 (http://darkmoon3636.deviantart.com/) and MisterIngo (http://misteringo.deviantart.com/) who have contributed inestimably to the FF smiley collection. (Do a keyword search on their names to see their work. It's like walking in a smiley wonderland.)
FF's very own resident hack machine JoeP, who cranks out code as if he were actually getting paid for it when in fact his sole remuneration is our profound gratitude (and infinite amounts of smilies).
Anyone I've forgotten please do me one last favor and blame the lack of sleep. Thank you all.
