View Full Version : Slight bugginess with screen display

Greetings, admins; thank you for so much beauty!

I'm posting using a Compaq Armada M300 running Win2K; regardless of whether I use Mozilla 1.4 or IE 5.5, Liquid or Fixed style, the width of the display changes. Sometimes it fits on my screen, without generating a horizontal scroll bar (such as when I'm viewing the top page of a forum); sometimes (such as when I'm reading a thread or posting, or viewing the index page) it is slightly wider than my screen, or even a bit wider than that.

Doesn't bother me, but I know it bothers at least one person, so I'm letting y'all know. :)

Cool, thanks Blake. I'll look in to it.

At least one person, eh? :)

I know the "Number of Active Users Today" box at the bottom of the forum index is stretching the front page, but that wouldn't explain it happening when you're viewing a thread, etc. Anyway for now collapsing that box solves the problem for the index.

Yeah it bugs me. And? So? Why are you looking at me like that? :hrm:

That works for me. Only the index was stretching on my screen.

Only the index was stretching on my screen.

I'm seeing the same behavior here at work, but I wasn't at home. Oddly enough, I'm using Firefox 0.92 on both machines.

Did you try collapsing the "Users Active Today..." box on the front page?

Actually I've fixed that "Active Users" issue. It should work now. :)

It's still happening with mine, though not to as great an extent; and I haven't made a note of it every time I've "Shown New Posts," but I believe all of those have fit within my display. Hmmm.
