I'm home sick.

My sinuses have been bothering me for four days and today I feel like I was trampled at footboll match panic and I get to experience occasional nausea on top of that. No classic cold symptoms, but it's seemingly a viral infection that is "going around."

Back to bed and Perry Mason.

Get some Zicam.

It could be worse. You could be at work.

Ensure you drink lots of fluids and have the remote control within easy reach.

Been there, done that recently. Though I have this nice cough that is hanging around.

If you have a cough, request Vicodin Tuss Syrup. You'll be flying high feeling better in no time.

I hope you feel better soon, godfry.

If you can't kick it and it moves to ears or chest, get thee to a doctor. The problem with the viral infections (for me, at least) is that while I'm waiting them out, I tend to succumb to some bacterial thing much worse. Than it's time for the antibiotics.

I've got this great, under the counter, anti-nausea med, but when I use it, it makes the body aches more noticeable and the gives me the only cough I've had, but I go back to sleep PDQ.

Yee gads, I felt like I had to drag myself across the room to get to the computer. Now Hobbes is pestering me about a delayed fishy treat. That means going all the way downstairs to the kitchen. Argh.

Get well soon, as you will need to get out gardening real soon! I need someone to talk to about gardening. (Selfish reasons, ya know!)

Hi, Deb...

I spent last Saturday puttering in the front garden. I posted to the "Obsessed with a Small Patch of Garden" thread about my first blossom of the year.

INot at the same time, I hope.

I like Nyquil so much I have it over ice as a liquor (Even when I'm not sick)

Hope you feel better soon.

I've had a on again off again cough for the last few days and some nausea today. I think the latter may have been due to lunch though.

Aw.

We need an "I'd give you a hug, but you're contagious, so stay away from me" smiley that I can insert here.

Feel better.

OFS - Good to see your text.

You got that alright. I've waved away two friends since deciding that what I had might well be contagious.

For some it was too late...for that I am truly sorry. I didn't know. Honest.

FWIW, I hope you start feeling better soon. If a cough does develop (it didn't until AFTER the doctor started treating my other symptoms), remember ... Vicodin Tuss Syrup. It will be your friend. Truuuusssttt me. ;)

TJ's really pushing that Vicodin. You knock over a Walgreen's or something?

Well, thanks for the recommendation, TJ, but ever since I had pneumonia, with a rillyrilly nasty cough, I've used prescription Tessalon caps, a benzonatate product. I keep a bottle around the house and it lasts me for about a year, maybe more, depending upon exposures to vectors. The tablet looks and feels just like a vitamin e cap.

I haven't had a cough yet. It's mostly body aches now. Excessive lassitude.
