I'd just make all my writings like this. Whenever I needed the faulty letter, I'd think up a different phrase that expressed nearly the same meaning in an alternative way. Sure, this might result in clumsy English; but I manage that all the time anyway. :P

Just try using language in which the failing letter key is unnecessary. I'm sure it can be excised and leave many useful phrases with which an inventive writer can express themselves undaunted. Perhaps such a restrictive impediment can inspire new insights?
Phew, that's quite tricky.
ETA - ceptimus beat me

The missing letter can be typed by keeping the Alt key pressed while entering 111 using the number keypad, then releasing the Alt. The capital (Upper case) letter can be typed using Alt-079.

I think yeu'd be better ef just replacing all the 0's with e's. After a while ne ene weuld netice the difference. The e is cleser in size te yeur letter that deesn't werk, se it deesn't stand eut as much as the 0.
