That was great, but we need more running and screaming.
I just borrowed this thread for an introduction. If I make a thread I will feel committed.

You bumped a 3-year-dead intro thread from a former FF member as a way to make your splash on :ff:, and you want us to glean something about you from your choice of introduction?
So you're an unoriginal thief and a necromancer. Do I win?

Interesting choice.

As in detained in a mental institution? Yeah, it can feel like that round here at times. But on the bright side, there's even more dancing produce than when this thread first lived.

Was it the title of this one that appealed to you, F-X? It probably packs more of an entertainment punch than Say Hi, Gracie. I blame vm.
Welcome to FF. :welcome1:

Actually, it as the name Adora, which reminded me of Malora, which I use Adora to remember. And of course, the fluffy bunnies.

Now that I've Googled your sig, I can say that I like it.
Welcome, F-X, you intro thread usurper.
Thanks. Clearly I am not much of a talker.
Did you know there is an "old thread" warning you have to click a box in, before you can necro a thread?
I like it.
Anybody still here?

I'm not.
I was reading a thread elsewhere about "who is the biggest thread killer" and it made me think of the phrase "I'm a thread killing son of a bitch" for some reason. So I type "thread killing son of a bitch" into Google, and there is a topic here at the top of the list.
So I look at it, and I see I posted in it. And I am like, wtf? So I log in (my browser had save the password) and then find I posted in this topic, which I don't even remember doing. So then I go to post, and this message about how old the topic is shows up, and that is so novel now I have to post.
I have been around a long time, on many many boards, but that is the first time I have run across that handy little tool.
Nice.
That can save one from much grief.

Welcome, F-X.
Tiring of the ratty people? Hankering for some free thought?
I'm always up for free thought. And pictures of boobs. The two greatest things about the interwebs.

Ratty people?
Well...Over at Talk Rational, you've been undergoing a browbeating from Vox Rat. That's pretty ratty.
As for pictures of boobs, I've seen enough of Dumya's and Dick's mugs to last me a lifetime.

It's funny, I thought of Ratboy when you said that.
Browbeating is a bit harsh. Not everybody has the gift of effective communication.

That can save one from much grief. The threadkilling sumbitch thread has been dead that long? Wow!
It said something like, "This thread has not been posted in for 923 days" and then had some other legalese sounding shit. It was scary man. You had to check a box before you could post.
That you had read the warning. Then something about if you still wanted to post you were doing so at your own risk.
livius drusus

That was for this thread, not the sumbitch. Sumbitch never has a chance to get that old. My favorite part of the fine print is the bit about how by clicking the box you give us permission to implant a homing device that can self-destruct on command.
Yes, I got the two confused. It was this thread that gave the warning.

I periodically put my thread-killing sumbitch thread on Ignore, another neat feature of this forum.

Speaking Crumb, I've probably inadvertently put half his posts on Ignore by having the thread killing sumbitch thread on Ignore.

He has more posts in that thread than most people here have posted in the entire forum. Shoot, that is a little more than a third ot my total post count.

I think Adora's more interesting... if a bit volatile.
F-X is fun. Don't know one way or the other about Adora and I can't be bothered to look at archives right now, but maybe when I have a free day I'll check it out.

Adora's 100 times better and I miss her :(
Actually 100 times better is being a little mean to Adora
She once posted a lovely picture...
Don't Panic.
That still cracks me up.
