Well, I won't make you. But I'm having a stressful time right now--mostly of my own making, of course--with classes and a clinic and extraneous whatnot that my life is constantly chock full of and trying to support RA as he winds up the last bits of his degree. Just generally exhausting and my parents are (needlessly) worried about me and RA is busy and doesn't need me needing him to help me be all peppy.
So now that you feel the tiniest bit sorry for me, I want to ask for a 10 random smilies story thread for me. Because I love them very, very much and they make me smile and laugh and I need more of that in my life right now.
I sound like a sad little munchkin, but nothing is really wrong. Plus, maybe I'll work my creativity up enough to come up with a story of my own. That will have to wait since I have chores to do before going to bed so I won't be completely dead for my 8:30 class. Wah.

I'm heading to bed, so I can't help tonight Wildy. Sorry. :(
Here's some background for any newbies:
The Original Random Smilie Stories thread (http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=536)
Crumb's 10 random smilie stories thread (http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3879)
The general idea is to do a smilie search, choose "10 random smilies" and then use whatever 10 smilies pop up to make a story.

Oh, man, I hear ya, Wildy. Why, just a few days back, I was with this :angrymob: , when all a-sudden I smooshed my puppies into a coupla :antilles: . :1thumbdown: , man. Fortunately, a :marsrover: rolled by, and I managed to hitch a ride all the way to :vanuatu: ! Too cool. It had a :lasergun: an' everything. Anyway, after :susp2: this way an' that, I spied one of those :sheepshag: Aussie types - you don't really think they're all crocodile hunters, do you?! - and :chuckle: ed at his tiny :ornament: ...
He got so mad at me, he said I could just :croatia: on it if I didn't stop laughing. So, anyway, we :brawl: ed a bit, and he was really :fishie: ing for a good bruising, when all a-sudden this :skateboard: guy rolled by and distracted him long enough for me to put a :ballgag: on him. Whew! Naturally, I immediately called a :reporter: to :drunk4: with after that, as I was so shaken. After a few pints, I really needed to :leak: . So off I trot to the loo, and you'll never guess who was in there. :pharaoh2: Fawcett-Majors! :vibes:
Which just goes to show ya: everything will turn out alright in the end.

pepper's totally right, wildy. Why, just the other day I was :therm: and I seriously thought I'd never :qwoot: again. I asked a :goodwitch: friend of mine to see if she could cast some kind of healing spell, but one of her assistants ( :beavis:, needless to say) added an unwanted ingredient, if ya know what I mean ( :fart: ) so I had nothing to show for the :banliang: I had spent.
Desperate to :ratchet: up my will to live, I turned to :lovejoy: (did you know he was a total  before Flanders ruined him for the rest of us?) and he led me in a stirring rendition of "In The Garden of Eden", by I. Ron. Butterfly. Once I got through all 20 minutes of that song, I realized I could get through anything, so I gave myself a big  and felt better right away.

I was just minding my own business, trying to :sunbathe: , when this :kookoo: guy started trying to strike up a fanboy conversation about :optimus: and other bad scifi cartoons that I didn't care about. Since nobody was around to :help: extricate me from this stupid :cow: 's blather, I had to whack him over the head with a :pineapple: . Unfortunately, my initial thought that he was an airhead was literally true, as his head was actually a :balloon: that popped as soon as the spiny part hit it. It was as embarrassing as getting caught :spam: ing on :ff:*. Fortunately, a :dj: happened to see me :blush2: ing, and out of the kindness of his heart, played the Macarena and took on the outrage of the crowd in a truly selfless act.
*I added the FF smiley to my 10-smiley list. Sue me.

:cap: was a happy-go-lucky fella with a bad habit of :bbed:. his mother had warned him about the dangers of such an activity, but these warnings only served as incentive and he continued late into the night, and fell asleep doing it.
when he awoke, he was :skydiver: through the clouds. he landed in the sands of :egypt:, face to face with an egyptian :fdragon:. he closed his eyes and braced himself for the worst: :blizzard:. after all that, all the beast succeeded in doing was turning itself to :dua:. wiping the sweat from his brow, :cap: turned to face a :lion: that he thought for sure was going to :gore: him, but when it saw the awesome hat he was wearing, they became friends: :purr:

Thanks for the hugs and smilie stories!! They did make me smile! Life seems much more controllable now--I guess sleeping and socializing will help with that!
