anwyay, I was being attacked by little zombie children and I had to protect myself with a hammer.

that's not the bad part

some of the little zombie children werent zombies and I couldnt tell the difference.

I am a little old to have nightmares, interesting while the dream was disturbing, I can clearly remember thinking that it was all obviously just a dream

Little children who look and act in a manner indistinguishable from zombies probably deserve to be attacked with hammers. Does it really matter if the one eating your brain is actually a zombie or just a cannibal with a skin condition?

What kind of hammer? Are we talking ballpeen or sledge here?

Last night I dreamed my family was having some kind of meeting (in our old house that was sold years ago) and I rolled a joint right in front of my dad. It was totally unrealistic. In real life I suck at rolling joints.

actually a regular claw hammer, a sledge would have been to awkward, those zombie kids moved pretty fast

think 28 days later, not night of the living dead

Was this chicken in either of your dreams?

If so, I apologise. Watching Nightmare on Elm Street 1 through 5 back to back unhinged him slightly.

That made me laugh out loud. Good one. :D

28 Days Later was freaky. I wouldn't want those zombie kids after me.

Dude. That does sound freaky (that movie - 28 Days Later - had me :hide: all night when I watched it, stupidly, alone when my roommie was out of town).

I recently had a creepy and disturbing dream in which I had to set this chick on fire. I mean, she deserved it and stuff (long story, it was a very bizzare dream altogether) but it still freaked the hell out of me and kept me up with that nightmare-y feeling for a couple hours.

I find evil-children scenarios (in movies, etc.) especially creepy, and I suspect this is common which is why it's employed as a plot device not infrequently. So I can imagine how disturbing that dream must have been.

I had a crazy dream about two nights ago, where I cracked my tooth in an empty swimming pool, and when I reached into my mouth to catch the bit that had chipped off, my whole jawbone with all the teeth attached to it, came right out. Freaked the hell outta me. Even in the dream it did, and I had to get some young kid to manically drive my non-existant SUV at great speed the wrong way down a one way street while I had my jawbone in one hand and braced myself against some impending accident with the other hand. It was totally weird. No zombie kids, though! Whew! :alarm:

No, wade. It's a hand waving you closer.

Anyone got a lawnmower?

(A blended baby and banana thickshake for anyone who gets the lawnmower reference  )

But they're so much fun to make! Nothing is juicier or more nourishing than a blended baby, and when the l'il fucker finally explodes on highspeed - well, it's art, I tell you.

The banana is just for a bit of extra flavour really; so if you aren't partial to banana, I could make it strawberry or something.

No need for that; I get closer every day anyway.

Oh, and could someone explain the lawnmower to me?

Hey even if I did get the lawnmower thing I'd never admit it or luna would force babyshakes on me.

Using the word force almost makes it sound like you dont like babyshakes.

Are you sure that you are a member of the EAC, I am pretty sure that baby shakes are in somewhere in the bylaws.

No, there is no mention of baby shakes in the bylaws. You may be thinking of kitten pie.

:fuming: Dreams? I wonder? If you guys give up on the thread closing, and if Koan will do some of her reading and give you guys that weren't goofing off about your dreams the real scoop, then you got the better part of a deal. You have to be really good to her because she is really good at deciphering dreams. :yup:

I guess we'll see if she picks up on this? And applies her skills to the dream thread? :chin:

I had a dream a while ago where the Rugrats were chasing me in an unlit, abandoned building.

Vampire Rugrats.

Angelica in particular was DISTURBING. I beat some of them off with a broken chair leg, and closed the door on them... only to find more behind me once I turned, and realized the hallway was connected with more than one entrance.

The odd thing was that they looked entirely cartoony, pastel-colored, brightly illuminated and out of place, compared to the dark Half-Lifesque background. Yet, at the time, I didn't immediately realize it was a dream. Weird.

Oh, and does livius have a (Rugrats) Chucky smilie, by any chance? :P
