Fox Producer Sues The Hell Out Of O'Reilly (http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/1013043mackris1.html)
The thing is, it could go in Politics & Law, too, since it's a lawsuit, or in Sexuality ... but I'm not that kind of sensationalist. :P
66. During the course of O'REILLY's telephone monologue on August 2, 2004, he suggested that Plaintiff ANDREA MACKRIS purchase a vibrator and name it, and that he had one "shaped like a cock with a little battery in it" that a woman had given him. It became apparent that Defendant was masturbating as he spoke. After he climaxed, Defendant O'REILLY said to Plaintiff: "I appreciate the fun phone call. You can have fun tonight. I'll appreciate it. I mean it."
Caribbean shower fantasies, anyone? I sense the downfall of a right-wing media hypocrite, yes I do. The stock market's down, GW's approval rating is almost as low as it's ever been; things are looking up politically in America, yes they are.

Wow. I read part of the complaint they have on that link. The threats are especially damning, I think.

Also, there are so many direct quotes in the complaint that I have to suspect she has much of this on tape. If so, he's definitely history.

Yeah! I read the whole thing, and the threats (and boast that his lawyers would take care of anybody who tried what she's trying) make it all deliciously ironic. TSG speculates the same thing about it being on tape--especially since some of the quotations are so unbelievably long. He is toast!

Faux is calling it "politically motivated extortion". Yeah, those liberal feminazis, sticking their noses into the workplace...... and stuff.

eh, watching this woman and her lawyer on TV. He needs to talk a lot less, he's a bit annoying and not coming across well.

A falafel is basically deep fried hummus. Much like a hush puppy, only made from chick pea paste instead of corn meal.

I sure hope not, warrenly. If the threats cited in the complaint have any basis in fact, he's more likely to try smear tactics first.

Falafel in pita is one of the things that makes beng a vegetarian (as I was for 13 or so years - now I eat fish, too) tolerable. I see someone has already described the recipe.
Its a middle eastern dish. Over here Anat's is a chain that does falafel (for the vegetarians) and schwarma (for the murdering scum) in pita with a your choice of extra options (chilli's, beetroot, atcha, onion and a lot more) and its everywhere. Its very popular.
If it weren't for falafel, maki sushi, haloumi, dolmades and Thai veg curries I'd prolly have to eat read meat and chicken.

So did O'Reilly actually have a vibrator up his ass when he was masturbating to orgasm on the phone?
(I actually do have some more substantive questions, but one of my professors knows O'Reilly's attorney, so I'll ask him those.)

Do any attractive people ever have major sexual scandals? O'Reilly is disgusting enough fully clothed and faux chaste. It's like imagining Scalia at the orgy. :puke:

Apparently he just said he was "using it on himself." No anatomical specifics were provided. Maybe he was just doing what the package says and massaging his neck with it.

So...Uh-O' wants to lightly rub a soggy chick pea sammitch...on...her...kitty?
Now that's what I call a dedicated vagitarian.

Fox is trying to fire her (http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/242845p-208086c.html) now and at the same time find a judge drunk enough to not consider it the retaliatory movie it so patently obviously is.
Andrea Mackris, 33, said she was served legal papers about her termination by a man lying in wait for her at her Manhattan apartment building.
The documents said Fox had asked a judge to let the TV station dump her from a $93,200-a-year job as associate producer on "The O'Reilly Factor" - and to rule that the firing was not in retaliation for her accusations about the show's host.
That poor woman. I hope O'Reilly gets his smug ass kicked in the court room.

In honor of the out of court settlement, here (http://www.fair.org/press-releases/oreilly-harassment.html) are a few of O'Reilly's previous comments on loofahs in the workplace.

So even though he claims the accusations are groundless and politically motivated, he's going to settle out of court.
Pay up, asshole!

From the article:
rises to the level of unlawful sexual harassment.
Wow, so it WAS sexual harassment, just not unlawful? Hmmm...
Plus FOX read her emails too, isn't that the same as reading the US mail?
No rights as an employee. Amazing.

Not if they were on her work account. That's pretty standard; almost all companies assert the right to read your email on the account they provide for you as an employee. It's their computer and software after all.

Yeah it's appalling in my opinion. It's weird that so many people in this day and age seem to be fine with it. I can't even imagine 10 years ago someone casually mentioning that their employer records all their phone calls. What's that famous saying about the ease with which people give away their civil liberties?
