For those of you that have an interest in II. I started a poll that was quickly locked, but now it has been re-opened in the depths of ~E~ (I am not complaining -- I was an ~E~ moderator once :P ).
If you would like to cast your vote, please feel free.

You're welcome. Thanks for posting. :D
Obviously, I think that the admins did the right thing in reopening the poll. It probably was not the easiest thing for them to do, and for what it's worth, I do appreciate that gesture.

I happen to think the ICR should be reopened and I happen to think that placing such discussions in ~E~ is an insult to the usership.

me too MC. Putting it in ~E~ is an open insult. The point of ~E~ is for threads that contain "a lack of serious content"
And thats what they are telling you what they think about the poll, they are showing a serious lack of respect for the members.
This really has irked me. I was staying out of it for the most part, but to cut of my ability to have an open discussion really does up set me.
The serious lack of community on II will bit them in the butt one day. People don't give money to boards where board members arn't respected.

Sorry Fisher, there was no "I don't care" option so I couldn't vote.
I almost responded to Wyz_sub10's "They don't all go to ~E~. If it's something relevant to another forum, it can go there" by asking - as a point of reference - what attributes your poll thread has that make it a better fit in ~E~ than MD. But then I realized that would be asking an admin a policy question outside QP&C and didn't really feel like having my post edited, deleted or split to a new thread.

 I don't really care what they do over there. If there is something interesting to read over there, I will. Otherwise I don't bother.

Hmmm, how can I answer that without seeming like I follow all IIDB threads?
Oh well, you can just take my word for it. I'm only obsessed with the FF.

There is no obsession. You are imaging one where it does not exist.
