Misreading threads...What does it all mean?

I thought I read a thread titled "A cuddle in the dark". On closer inspection, I see it says "A candle in the dark."

What does it all mean???

I do it all the time, too. But I've got an excuse/reason. Sometimes the imagined meaning cracks me up (when I catch it in time), other times it just bums me out.

But, AspenMama, re: your misread thread and the OP, my guess is you are simply looking for some good ol' fashioned love and attention.

I thought this thread was titled Mistreating Threads..., and I'm certain that I have no desire to be mistreated, so it can't be that. How does one mistreat threads, anyway?

Cuddles are better than candles...providing that cuddles are pure.

I thought I was the only one in the world that played Mahjong, for which I feel guilty constantly...or during the times I play it anyway.

And to AspenMama....of OP...
And I would offer my cuddles of course...but that would be "all about me" and what you need if you are misreading threads is "all about you"...or better glasses.

Now if the "all about me" and the "all about you" was in full harmony...then cuddles would be mutually beneficial and beat mahjong all to hell and who would then give a damm about threads anyway.

Well I did get some cuddles last weekend. And last night my daughter cuddled with me from about 3 in the morning-- er rather slept sideways on my king size bed and kicked me in the back---

Anyway-- I don't know nuttin' about no steenkin' mahjong.
