Gawd, I was a lot older than 10 before I knew. Maybe 14 or 15, from jr. high locker room talk. Sure as hell never got any instruction from my parents.

They didn't want your willy to be covered with ice-cream when you were still so young.

Good movie. Though I'd have liked, for a change, the protagonist to retain his dignity and the cute guy.

Little slow on the uptake, Ding? :wink:No. Nobody ever told me and I didn't care enough to know. For all I knew at the time, kissing caused pregnancy. That's all I ever saw my parents do.

Well, he still has his dignity. Just not the other guy.

And thanks for the welcome.
Wandered over here at the twin siren calls of Histrionica and Sock Puppet. I'll post the story behind the moniker one of these days (not terribly exciting, but it's from a time before the trolls of Yahoo forums chased away everyone who thought they could lead my wicked soul to salvation and paradise; good times).
But that snippet from Get Real is one of my favorite bits of movie exposition, so I had to respond. :)
Hi Uthgar the B., and welcome to the :ff:
Philo, your siggy is cute.

Hehe, thanks. It's from a really cute movie, called 'Get Real'. You should watch it, if you don't mind 'tenderly romantic' teen movie.
Unfotunately, we only get the Golf Channel here.

He could make it his custom title just to fuck with you.

That would be a hollow victory, at best. We'd both know the truth, and every time he viewed his own title, he'd know he was living a lie.

It's a nice signature, Philosophy.
Particularily amusing because I had scheduled my Mom to give my eldest the talk when she was eight, and since my Mom didn't get the job done (my daughter is closer to my Mom than she is to me), I just did it a few weeks ago, she fairly recently just turned ten.
Now we have this inside joke, where I made my hand go limp and then after held it straight and I tease her about it, because she thought that was so hilarious. So, just Mom and daughter inside joke about sex, I make my hand go limp and she dies laughing. It's sweet.
