Evidently a school had a filthy boy's bathroom so a teacher took the kids into the bathroom so they could smell how bad the odor was. Some of the kids protested and the teacher may get in trouble.

Anybody know of a news story even less deserving of being printed than this one?

It certainly seems like much ado about nothing. Even if it is true - and according to the article some kids deny it happened - I don't see what the problem is. So they smelled piss. Woopdeedo. Even money says those kids examine their feces with fascination every morning.

Perhaps this could become a thread to house links to news stories that reveal more about the lack of drive and ambition of the news reporting source than anything else. I read the story and just thought to myself "Why is this news?"

If it was a local town paper with a circulation of 500 I could see it, but it was an associated press article which would seem to imply some degree of relevance, I think.

A group of parents has accused a teacher... That is the news story. If the parents didn't care about it, then nobody else would give a rat's ass either. Parents are idiots.
