Really. She is. I saw her on tv news this evening. She was a-preaching the homophobic word to the god-bothering nazis at Destiny Church here in NZ.
Man, she pissed me off. All I could think of was that her father, despite her claims to the contrary, would be rolling in his grave, I'm sure. He would have realised that once upon a time bible verse was used to keep the black man down. Was used to keep women down. Was used to justify slavery, domestic abuse, and the withholding of basic and equal human rights.
And there she was, the Rev. Bernice King, ranting and raving about how God hates fags.

Oh, and just to ice the cake, the news also showed a neo-nazi stormfront-type rally in Wellington. The National Front, bless them, felt the need to demonstrate to protect the flag, cos it's got the Union Jack on it.
