Is there a function I'm missing where we can report threads or posts? I wanted to suggest a split on the following thread:

There is a whole discussion about gender which deserves its own thread.

This http://www.freethought-forum.com/forum/images/freethought/buttons/report.gif is the droid you're looking for. Our split policy under normal circumstances is to check with the thread-starter to be sure he or she is down with it before plucking stuff out of the thread to make a new one.
You're right that the gender discussion is way off the beaten path of the OP, and definitely deserves a thread of its own. I'll pop seebs a PM asap.

Nothing short of a full frontal lobotomy would make me forget that, Cool Hand. :giggle:

Liv,
Do you know where I can get one of those lobotomies you speak of?

Sure. If you've got a chopstick and a rock hammer lying around, you can do it yourself through your right nostril. Just don't be shy. That shit is way up in there.

Or ya could do it the painless way by attending Falwell's university.
