I read the sticky, and decided to follow the sagacious advice given there and cut and paste the questionnaire.

So, here goes.

1. How'd you find the Freethought Forum?

I just searched 'thought forum', and this is what came up first.

2. Are you a member of any other online forums? Which?

A few music ones, both of which became tedious in short order. Also, there isn't a whole lot of thought provoking musings going on there.

3. How do you feel about smilies (emoticons)?

I have nothing against them, but I rarely use them.


4. How do you feel about 2500+ smilies? see above

5. Is flaming:
A. Hilarious

C. Irritating as fuck

B. It serves no purpose.


6. Is vulgar language:

I don't really have any view at all on the subject. It doesn't bother me, but I rarely swear.


7. Why did the chicken cross the road?

I don't know. Eventually, someone will think to ask the chicken, I suppose.

I do.

9. What's one thing you've always wanted to do but never have?

Walk into the woods, and not come out until I found myself.

10. What is your single favorite place in the world?

Inside myself. There is true peace there. It's simply a matter of listening.

11. What's the significance of your username?

It was given to me, as an honorary Native American name.

really hope you like it hear, keep in mind that there are no moderators really and only a few rules. almost anything goes. we also have a host of ignore functions which are really quite useful.

I know some Nanticoke Indians. I met them a while ago, and they were kind enough to provide me with some guidance on a few spiritual matters, and included me in a few of their less-sacred rituals. I was respectful, and they rewarded me with my own name. It's not official or anything like that, but it is mine, none the less.

Thank you all for the welcomes. I will be back later to peruse the threads. I've looked around a bit, but haven't really had time to explore.

I will tell you all one thing about myself...I don't post much. I read a lot. The last forum I was in, I spent over a year there, and had a little over 300 posts. I mostly keep to myself and only say something if I think it will contribute something to the topic at hand.
