View Full Version : "average/normal statistic"-Gang

Men despise religion. They hate it and are afraid it may be true.
the thread was something to do with obnoxious in the title...i'm not making it up. even vm and i were talking about it the other day in a thread...
who does it happen to? annie, awareness, lion's den...anybody who doesn't fit the 'norm'. ..
there is a difference between getting a dig in at somebody, and following it up with the reason why, and just joining up with the gang and leaving insults, and nothing else.
MonCap,
most people have seen this for what it is, a little levity.
If you read the thread, most people wish they had been singled out. If you don't want to vote, it's your right.
* NC Kev wishes he had put MonCap in poll
Missing both Sweetie and Jesus Lawyer.
Okay, of the limited choices available, I cast my vote. LionsDen wins, due to his excellent embodiment of the duplicity and moral bankruptcy of the Christian evangelical movement.
Most of the other nutjobs are just incoherent losers.
We're all nutjobs here. It is really just a matter of degree.
OK, I just voted for LionsDen. Not because I admire him, but because his inane posts have stimulated some very interesting discussions. Discussions that get more interesting the quicker he bails out.
Joe, what thread and posters are you ignoring? Annie? Yeah, I can see why you'd want to ignore
You know, some of the most nutty people also appear to be rather sane.;)
Anyway, I agree with the sentiment that it is wrong to single a person out as a nut.
maybe it's time to create a new one. This time I will first ask who wants to be in the poll.
If you start one on the favorite :ff: asshole, I'll throw my hat in.
The "average, normal statistical" mob-gang here, is no different than the drunken mob-gang who participated in crucifying God/Jesus.
Here, the gnashing of teeth (via written vulgarity), spewing-up/forth their vile-bile, continues.
For now.
*self-Healing* any?one? - what, are you joking! - mob-gang is too damn busy, continuing dying of cancering,
nauseaously repeating History.
I repeat: *self-Healing* any?one?

dramatic...but true. it is the same type of animal behaviour. it doesn't just happen here. just because the example is over the top and potentially based on a fictional story, doesn't mean there isn't a point being made. those people who called out for his crucifiction were all just 'normal' people...that is the point of the story...

They were drunk?
yes.
The word is used figuratively, when people are spoken of as being drunk: with pains of every sort, depression, sorrow, anxiety, dis-easing galore, even to death.
And from/for such evils:
God/Jesus allowed the gift of His mortal life, that *each* of us may Live...abundantly.

* Legs thinks
Annie should start wearing a helmet during double axels.
Due to a life-threatening injury I survived, only months before
I finally got to lace-up my skates my 1st. time, the helmet etc. is always on.
Weaning myself from dependency, is quite the trick ~ I keep toying with it, tho
not as I near "Jumping :yup: lessons" :D
Thank you for whatever *sincere concern* for others, you may have.
Annie
Annie, why did you fight to survive and live? why not just go be with god in heaven? :wander:

Annie,
why did you fight to survive, and live?
Legs,
why do you want people, including myself, dead?
why not just go be with god in heaven? :wander:
why not just: "For to me, to Live is Christ, and to die is gain"
(Philip. 1:21-23
Just as I chose in 1982, from Leukemia to *self-heal*, and live with Jesus' love.
Just as I chose, from 5 other tragedies to *self-heal*, and live with Jesus' love.
So again, I chose in'99, from the other injury I mentioned, also.
Thank God, for all our friends continuing *truely :yup: helpful*.
Annie
why do you want people, including myself, dead?
If you think that you are more of a :fruit: than I thought you were.
If you believe in god and heaven and afterlife, why is it preferable to stay here on Earth?
I am asking because I have never sustained a life threatening injury. Why fight to live when you can drift peacefully up to god? It makes me think you are not so sure of heaven if you fight to stay here.

of course: "animal-behaviour"...
excuse is: "Hey, we can't help ourselves, we evolved from apes".
just because the example is over the top
Over the top of what? -
I can show you LOTS of animal/animals *vastly more humane*, than what passes for 'humanity' here.
doesn't mean there isn't a point being made.
Those people who called out for his crucifixion were all just 'normal' people...that is the point of the story...

well annie, i believe that if you can recognize yourself as being an animal, you are smart enough to rise above it. and i mean really see yourself for the beast you are so you can find the beauty inside...how lame was that? :D
don't let people bother you too much. :)

If you believe in god and heaven and afterlife,
Yes, I believe - that besides a Heavenly-afterlife,
God, as Jesus, lived His mortality, examplifying... how we can live a Heavenly-herelife.
It makes me think, you are not so sure of heaven if you fight to stay here.
Fighting? why that?
Might it be/feel better creating a Heavenly-here :yup: life.
Why fight to live, when you can drift peacefully up to god?
*living...:yup: peacefully-at-one*: now this I'll agree with.
But "drifting, & up"? - Where to, pray tell?
After God purifies this earth, we'll get to continue... enjoying ourselves, right here.
So, in the meantime, back to living... :D joyfully-at-one
why is it preferable to stay here on Earth?
Be cause I'm enjoying :D FUN, here and now
And what about *you*?
Annie
Fighting Death....*to* live
And what about *you*?
There is no heaven, there is no hell ~ when it's over, it's over. One shot at life.
An incentive not to die, I would think.
On the other hand, as I asked earlier, if you are so sure there is a Heaven full of angels and peace and rainbows why fight death to live, why not just go and enjoy Heaven?

So what of people, slowly/chronically-dying INside. That's hell, for him/her.
That's another reason I encourage people's *self-Healing*s...
On the other hand, as I asked earlier,
if you are so sure there is a Heaven full of angels and peace and rainbows ~

There is no "Here, and there", in some sense.
A simple question: Do you know how? to re-create, and help others re-create, Heaven IN :yup: side

Annie, are you saying Earth is a better place to be (more fun) than Heaven? You don't think St. Peter has a sense of humour? do you know how many St. Peters jokes there are?
