McGyver is about, but Rona didn't come in on the 4th of July. Hasn't been seen since. I'm checking with the neighbors and visiting the pound today.

I hope you find him :( One of my family cats, Oreo is missing too, she's been missing for five days now. :worry:
ETA: I just went out to see if Oreo was back, lo and behold, she was sitting on the steps looking all innocent. Jesus.
I hope your cat comes back and I suspect she's probably just gone on a exploring trip.

Many pets go missing on the 4th due to fear of the fireworks. I hope she comes home or is found safe.

Oh no... Kitties can make you crazy with their wanderlust. I hope she strides up to you cocky as the day is long right quick. :badday:

Yeah! What liv said.
Years ago one of our cats went missing for four days. She turned up again after her adventures, sauntered in and looked at us as if to say "what?"

Maybe she went up to Washington state to see The Lone Ranger. Cats do that, you know.
Sorry about that, maddog. Hope she's back soon.

NO no no.
This has got to be hard after your experience with your previous feline buddy. I sure hope Rona is just checking out some new worlds and will find her way back home asap. Is McGyver handling her absence ok? Maybe he'll call her home.

Yay! Welcome home, Rona!
And the cat came back, she didn't stay away
She was sitting on the porch the very next day.
The cat came back, she did not want to roam.
The very next day it was home sweet home.

Glad all the cat's came back. :)
Having lived out in the woods for some time back in the day, I know it's a dangerous world out there for a cat. Foxes, fishercats, coyotes...lost more than just one kitty to the depredations of the wild carnivores of New England.
Here in suburbia, it's not so bad. Cushion of 5000 other houses to absorb some of the predation lol.
