We have a few science smileys here, and they're nice, but would it be possible to get a black hole and a supernova? I'd ask for a string, but the theories move so fast that we could end up with an out of date smiley in not too long.
Maybe some kind of transgenic animal too? And a particle collision inside a particle accelerator, of course cartoony, so it'd be fairly easy to make.
