Definitely short on entertainment, people stationed in the Antarctic have formed something they call the 300 Club.

In order to join, the rules are quite simple.

1: You must be crazy
2. You must be naked
3. The temperature outside must be -100 or colder
4. The temperature inside the sauna must be +200 degrees or warmer, thus making the transition from inside to out that of three-hundred degrees!
5. You must walk outside and pass around the South Pole before coming back in.

Hey, while it's somewhat on topic, does heat have the opposite effect? So, like, are these dudes going from shrinkage to stretchage when they go from -100:degrees: to 200:degrees: ?

A dozen naked dudes, stuck at the south pole for the winter. I imagine there is a lot of penile stretching going on.

But seriously, wish it did, but it doesn't quite work that way.

Well I'll be. I didn't know there was an actual station at the pole. I thought they got there from McMurdo Station and then trucked back. Uh. Learn something new every day.

And here I thought that the 300 Club was going to be something like the 700 Club. How wrong I was!

That sounds dangerous. I have no interest in joining.

If I read that right, there was at least one woman involved.

Also, those guys aren't naked. They have gloves, hats, and boots on. Cheaters.

ETA: If you look at that first picture, in the upper right, there is a guy in the distance ... WTF is he doing?

Waggling his naughty bits in the cold air. Well, maybe not waggling them, as I'm sure they had enough sense to 'get in' out of the cold.
