It's that time of the year again, when people of all races, nationalities and religions come together to celebrate the birth of the Bluenose.

This year, I've decided to go with the ultra-rare instead of just the extra rare.

Happy birthday, Bluenose!

Here's hoping your celebration has a touch of the exotic:

Thank you all.
I just walked back from the hospital, where they gave me a whole crop of tests including EKG, xrays, CAT scan, blood and urine.
The good news is I do not have EB or CMV [what we called IM when I had it in 66] but it felt like that ie severe pain in left abdomen. But after 40 years, how do you remember for sure ????

They gave me pain killers to hold me until I get the Rx filled, and referal to a specialist.
When they figure out what it is I will let you know.

For some reason, I am not like my Mother and relatives were when I was a child, ie always talking about other people's Dx, Rx and Tx. For some reason I seem to worry only about my baby and my own aches and pains.

I shall return......
When.....
?????????????????????????????

I guess when I have more to complain about...........

So, here is one of my oldest one liners:

I get out of bed only when I have something to complain about.

Nothing like a day at the hospital for celebrating your birthday. :hahano: Take care of yourself, Bluenose, and please come by and tell us how you're doing whenever you have the chance.

Oh those suck. I had one on my birthday once. :yup: That's also when I had the hiccups for four hours. I hope they gave you some big ass pain killers that knock you on your ass. :drugs: (But don't give you the 4-hour hiccups like mine did.)

Oh and a belated Happy Birthday! :unpres:
