So, Bang Bang Yudiyano (sp?). What do you all think of him? (if you don't know who he is, before you ask, use google. "Bang bang" and "indonesia" should work). He was elected on the back of the people being fed up with corruption, but to a cynic like me, doesn't really look like he's going to improve things. What I'm most concerned about is whether he's going to continue to pander to the strongly religious branches of Indonesian politics and society (ie- the Fundy terrorists) either up front or behind the scenes (as Sukanoputri did). It's funny, but he's a bit like Reagan in a way, since he was an actor before he was a politician.

All I know is if he was running for President in America, there would be a rash of Secret Service agents arresting young children for saying "Bang bang, you're dead!"
