That I have good parents and they gave me a happy childhood.
*My rational, atheistic, existentialist/nihilist worldview. I don't fully understand how it did it, but this kicked the ass of my OCD to where it's like it doesn't even exist anymore. I'm more thankful for this than words can express.
My cats and gecko, they brighten my days.
My health, dashing good looks and above average brain.
The FF, the internet's most bitchin' forum.
Epoxy putty and epoxy glue. I only partially kid here, the stuff is wonderful.

Mmm, South African and Korean flight test pilots in their flight jumpsuits and lovely accents.
My eyepatch and my disregard for looking like weird. I mean, yeah sometimes I care, but not enough to not do what I need to do and look like a freak when I need to.

I'm thankful I bought my motorcycle four years ago, it's helped my sanity and my back problems.
Note: It just happens to be all wet at the moment, from a surprise rainstorm that just passed through. I left it outside because I had planned to go for a ride now that I got the hay all stacked properly in the barn.

I am always thankful that I caught myself in time to save my own life.
I am thankful today because, after weeks of pondering, reading and thinking on a certain subject, the fog lifted and I made connections, some real sense, of what I'd been so confused by.

I am thankful today because, after weeks of pondering, reading and thinking on a certain subject, the fog lifted and I made connections, some real sense, of what I'd been so confused by.I'm interested if you would care to elaborate on either or both of these two. They both sound intriguing. :)
I'm thankful for my remaining family: had a real family celebration dinner with sister, niece and a close friend of mine who is considered part of our family now. Dinner was in honor of my brother and his wife both hitting their 50th bdays (July and September). They are on their way to Hawaii from their home in Manhatten NYC and scheduled a 30 hour layover here in Los Angeles so that we could party tonight.
It is wonderful having a family event celebration without the unspeakable horrors imposed by my mother throughout our lives during this sort of thing.

I'm intrigued by your post also, quiet bear. :optimist:
I'm especially thankful for my :cycleluv: today. I'm getting way more comfortable riding and therefore way better at it. Got to be careful now that I am because riding can be literally intoxicating! I went to go into a higher gear this morning on my way to work and was surprised to find that I was already in the highest gear! :yikes: (No, I shouldn't have been given the speed limit of the area I was riding in) I had no idea that I was even going that fast. Wow!
Riding is total awesomeness :yes!: but I need to pay 'tention to how fast I's going! :yup:

Yet another great understanding in therapy.
It was ok to be jealous when my husband liked other people better. I wasn't being a loser.
Wow
I'm thankful to the wonderful people I work with (see my blog for more about that, banner in signature).
