Greetings all. I'm Malloch. Survivor and veteran of the old Universism forum. I'm 25, married to Biochemgirl(she'd put up with me for 3 years, or 30 if you ask her) and have been enlisted in the Army National Guard for over five years, serving in both Kuwait and Iraq. I'm an old school wargamer and military historian as well as a cesspool of useless information. I look forward to many enlightened discussions with you all.

I'll prefer to think of you as a crystaline mountain spring of useless information, if you don't mind. Welcome to FF, Malloch. :welcome1:

M. Livius Drusus, tribune of the plebs, one of the last great republicans and would-be enfranchiser of all of Italy. His assassination sparked the Social War, in which the italians tribes fought Rome for the right not to be treated like ballista fodder.

I have no idea if there's a sword bearing his name, but given his and his descendants' fame in the wielding of one, I wouldn't be surprised. :caesar:

Not if biochemgirl has anything to say about it. :tongueincheek:

Welcome Malloch. My interests are American and Asian history. Rather than military, I tend to have interests in commerce, transcultural exchange and human migration.

Welcome, Malloch!

I'll welcome your bride in her own thread.

I'm also one who enjoys military history, so I'll be interested to see what you might post.
