Nightmares, been maybe four or five years since I had my last one, but the past few nights I've died. Oh no, can't be normal ways to die - try sliding out of control down a large, straightish mountain road covered in a thick layer of ice while dressed in nothing but Fall clothes and long, wooden stilts on my feet. Where does my subconscious get this shit?

Any insane nightmares you wish to share?

I haven't had a nightmare recently, but last night I dreamed I was helping Dick Cheney debug some code.

That's scary enough.

That's not as bad as the dream in which I was rubbing George W. Bush's feet.

I dreamed last night that I was in bed with my lover and my best friend was over visiting and I was worried she might tell my husband about my affair, but I just sort of played it off and introduced them, and she was all like, "We've met, remember?" And I was like, "oh yeah," all sheepish-like.

Then we were talking about how she entered the Air Force at the same time as I did* and she became a photographer and she had been to Italy and Qatar and some other place which I don't remember, but she was totally hating the military and she was angry that she had joined with me and I was having a good time in Georgia and having an affair while she was having a miserable time. And I was thinking how awesome it was that she got to be a photographer and travel overseas, but I didn't mention anything about that to her, because I felt guilty for forgetting she had even joined up, much less having fallen out of touch with her and not knowing what her job was and where she was stationed until she told me.

*She did not actually enter the Air Force, that was all just part of the dream.

Oh yeah, also the night before I dreamed that I came into work and this petty officer that I work with was wearing khakis and had gold bars on his collar. And I was like, "OMG! I didn't even know you were trying to get a commission ... sir." And he's all, "Oh yeah, I'm totally an ensign now." I told him about the dream the next morning, and he was all, "cool!"

Not really a nightmare, but whatever.

Ick, I had a dream last night that I was a maid. And not the French type, either. I couldn't clean fast enough! I think my subconscious is telling me that my house needs a good cleaning.

That made me miss my zombie apocolypse dreams.
