hide avatar question

Umm, sorry, don't know where to bring this up . . .
I have byelzu's avatar on "hidden," not because it's not funny, but because it's not safe for work in my environment. On the threads, the "hidden" protocol obtains. On the 'portal' page, however, byelzu's avatar appears at the top of the featured threads box. How can I "hide" it in that place, too? I was surprised it didn't do so by itself. Any help, guys?

Interesting question, maddog. Thanks for bringing it up. I'll look into it, but I don't have an easy answer right now besides don't go to the portal page. Heh. I'll post again as soon as I've figured out a fix for it.
