View Full Version : Is it just me or is The Colosseum making the FF more popular?

Ever since The Colosseum opened it seems the :ff: has been gaining quite a few new registrants. It seems The Games that go on in our famed arena have gained this forum some acclaim. I have noticed a couple of new people who seemed to have joined specifically to take part in The Games. I hope you new people visit the rest of this forum. You may find that you do not wish to leave. :wave:

Agreed wholeheartedly, Crumb. The one reason I stay is the hoard, a greater treasure trove of smileys can't be found anywhere. That and the admins. My two reasons for staying are the hoard and vm and liv. The two of them have created a wonderful home for us on the Internet. The hoard, the admins and the posters. My three reasons for staying are the hoard, liv and vm and this most excellent group of posters. Collectively, you all are witty, intelligent, informative and provactive. Individually, you are a bunch of cocksuckers.

To answer the OP: No, not in my opinion. We have seen an influx in new registrations since opening the Colosseum, but in truth most of these new accounts have been spammers who never get around to activating. Of the few authentic new members who've joined, several have apparently done so for the game threads only, and only one or two (that I can think of) have shown any interest in the rest of the forum. So I personally wouldn't call that making the :ff: more popular. I think the general discussions still hold the primary appeal for most of the members.
