I fought a bald eagle yesterday. That made me feel pretty patriotic.

I mean, technically, I saw a bald eagle, but it kept flying because it was too scared to fight me.

We went to my brother's suburban dream house to swim and bar-be-chew and blow up things. The fire marshall was eventually called and confiscated all the things that weren't blowned up already.

We live like a block from the big fireworks display, which was super-big this year because last year's was cancelled.

So we just stood in the driveway in your pajamas, then came back in. Ha ha.

There is currently a huge traffic jam IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE. Like seriously huge. People are backed up for blocks.

So I go outside to lol at the traffic, and: BABY DUCK ON OUR FRONT PORCH. Probably scared and disoriented or something, but it flew a little bit away when it saw me, and I didn't want to scare it any more. I hope it's OK.

My pajamas are pretty ratty and mismatched and stuff. Prolly okay for driveway wearing but not for coordination with the bedding rules. I am sorry for that and hope the founding fathers aren't mad about it.

It is even more amazing I caught that because: 1. I am p. drunk, 2. I have a Dante under my chin, and C. I may be mildly concussed.

I was pulling a sweet move and banged my head against the bottom of the pool while swimming, so I have a big angry red goose egg in the center of my forehead. I am already white, so if it turns blue tomorrow I am going to call it EXTRA patriotic. FOR FREEDOM.

Our new park structure caught it's first Volvo, and drunk driver in said vehicle.
I'm so proud.
Mostly because I caught the guy before he jammed the second wheel over the curb and told him to back the fuck up or he was going to get caught.

The tow truck driver had fun trying to get that thing out, also busted oil pan and rear axle now. OR HE COULD HAVE LISTED TO THE WOMAN WHO WAS TELLING HIM NOT TO BE AN IDIOT.

Maybe I'm seeing what I want to see, but to me, it's a powerful blind predator senselessly ripping the shit out of wisdom and knowledge. The eyes look blind, even the "third eye". The total comic book feel adds to the sense of satire IMO. The X over the I, backwards R, it just feels like a put on. Who knows though, maybe it's just some sack of shit that really hates "faggots" (apologies for repeating that if it offends, LS forced me into it, blame her!) and reading. I would bet against it, but who knows?
