I graduated from the University of Georgia yesterday morning. I then had a party with my wife and some of my friends.

I'm applying to grad schools as slot of you know. I'm going to still go into the lab while we still live in Athens.

It's a little surreal finally graduating.

I like to finish with "Tung Oil", a light sanding before the last coat gives a real nice finish.

Biology/ Micro Biology with a Religion minor, should give you an interesting perspective on evolution.

One of my professors told me that if a grad school was really interested in me I would hear back before Christmas. UC Santa Cruz invited me to interview already. I really liked the school and it feels good to be wanted.

That same professor doesn't actually like UCSC, but I think he's a little wrapped up in publish or perish and I am not. (My wife is going to work for the google, I want to teach at a small school or community college, basically wherever I can get a job conveniently)
