I want to embed a hotlinked image using the [img] tags, but I'm not getting the image to appear and although this may ultimately be down to the host server nixing the deal, the immediate cause seems to be that an essential part of the URL string is being stripped out from between the tags at the
vBulletin end.
The URL to The Guardian's photo of Bernie Sanders should end with the string s= e3c44b32740ca0781e3e99c2da55851f (with no space after the '=') .
However I try to include that string in my post*, when I click [submit] vBulletin strips it out and (unsurprisingly) The Guardian doesn't accept the request without what is presumably a security code of some kind.
