I absolutely hate it and apart from a handful of songs about twenty years ago I had the impression that it was never a big deal in Europe and the US, but my girlfriend and her friends listen to this African pop music (stuff that's brand new) and
every single fucking song uses that godawful Autotune trololo. When I complained after a while they didn't even understand what I was talking about.
