Thank goodness we have Trump in office, with his non-interventionist instincts. He had the foresight to first support and then oppose the Iraq War after it was unpopular, and support but later oppose the Libyan intervention after Benghazi, so it was a plausible record of non-interventionism. Strong evidence, much like George W. Bush's argument that the US shouldn't be engaging in "nation building". I was afraid Clinton would commit more forces or even start a new war in the Middle East
