So, Ms. Chickenbunny is not doing so well. Her appetite fell off, then it got worse and she couldn't keep most of her food down. Bloodwork came back today, and her liver and pancreas enzymes are way too high. Today she's getting IV fluids and X-rays, so we'll know more -- possibly more than I want to know.
Li'l Puppet doesn't even know the extent of it, but she flat-out asked me if she'd be okay, and I had to say that I don't know and can't promise she will, at this age. She won't take it well no matter when it happens, but I am sincerely hoping we can get through this next month. At least until she can actually see her friends in person again. I was hoping for another year+, to get through the high school years, but that now looks less likely.
ETA: After IV fluids, some medications, etc., she's obviously feeling better, and while she still wouldn't touch the vet's food, she enthusiastically chowed down on the small portion of Fresh Pet that I gave her. I think I may have to start cooking for her, as I don't fully trust the Fresh Pet, but do need her to actually freaking eat.
