Default Re: People need to start getting the fuck off my internet

These people have so many enablers is the thing. That's the only reason things like this work.

Anyone who plays into the whole scam by shaming or humiliating or holy fuck firing someone for being victimized is culpable. I mean, that's the reason this sort of shit even exists, because somehow it is considered more shameful for a woman to be seen undressed (even if they're Photoshopped that way) than it is to be a fucking predator. WTF? I sure as hell wouldn't want my kid in a school that punished victims and rewarded predators the way that one teacher's unnamed school did. What does that say about their ability to address bullying in their schools? Sounds like they're pretty solidly on the pro side.

Here is Hunter Moore's new project, in a venue. With opening acts. In a club that is owned by a parent company. Attended by paying customers.

Obviously, his supporters are all enablers at best, too. And they all have their own enablers. Their families and their friends and their employers should be made aware, and if they're supportive, if they're buying them food and clothes and paying for their internet access and their electricity, they're enablers too.

If you're employing someone who spends their spare time, or maybe even company time harassing women on the internet, you should know. You should be aware of the potential liability a person like that could be in a workplace. You should not hire them, and if you've already hired them, you should fire them if possible, and if it's not possible, you should keep a very close eye on them until you can because they pose very clear risks to your other employees. If you don't do that, your company should be known as a company that knowingly employs violent predators.

It would be good if maybe the people who actually did something wrong were the ones looking over their shoulders and worrying about their Google results.
