Violence at demonstrations is not a good look. There really are websites where people discuss wanting to kill literally kill liberals. There's also a long term and well disseminated meme on the right that liberals are violent.

What this looks like to me is so-called-moderate conservatives saying to liberals "rein in your extremists because ours are so much scarier."
