Dr. Gilbert Welch at Dartmouth. He and his team have
a fairly well known book on the topic. It seems to be a well-known topic of controversy in the 'overdiagnosis' and 'overtreatment' crowd. As I understand it, PSA is the 'poster child' for overdiagnosis.
