thanks, liv. She'd actually been thinking she wanted to move out for many months, at least since the beginning of the year, so no sweat on that point. It's a bit of a relief, actually. AND the timing was perfect (sorta): this happened right BEFORE she was supposed to sign a lease for another year (and not right AFTER!) So I've given the 30 days notice, and my 30 days are ticking away quicker than you can say "Jack Robinson."
