It could also just be the "Everything I don't understand is bullshit" phenomenon, which is pretty common in all kinds of people.
I don't understand your system, so it's obviously wrong. I don't know what these things are for, so they're obviously garbage. If anything, I am doing you a favor by reordering and "decluttering" your things so that everything makes more sense to me.
