Default Re: What's for Dinner?

I don't know what I was thinking. Came in from working in the barn all day and pulled out the "Freezer to Oven" boneless turkey roast. Opened the bag the turkey breast was in another bag. So I just cut it open and placed it on the foil in the roasting pan, no problem, right? Oven preheated to 325 ready to go....put the turkey in the oven then read the instructions. It will now take two hours to cook and it states" do not take turkey breast out of oven baking bag".....What? I just thought it was more protection so the meat would not get freezer burn. Hopefully it won't be a problem and maybe that is why it could go from freezer to oven because of the intense heat the bag would give to the turkey breast. Well, Ding is not going to be a happy camper, cause dinner will not be ready when he gets home:sadcheer:
