Oklahoma legislature votes to OK medical marijuana. Who knows how much it'll get watered down before the state's reactionary governor signs it, but I figured we needed a spot of good news on a day like today.

As a bonus (seen in the headline), Schumer has also put forth a bill to decriminalise recreational use of marijuana nationally. It won't pass (certainly not with a veto-proof majority), but it's a nice gesture, and it'll probably help to motivate turnout this year after the party of Calhoun stonewalls it.
