Fact check: What are Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, the early United States (which was in many places completely indifferent to gay, lesbian, and bisexual conduct), and a horde of other countries that are still standing?
I mean, yes, if you want to go back hundreds of years to civilisations that wouldn't exist anymore regardless of historical factors, and disregard ones that still exist, then maybe your statement is defensible. But going back to
ancient Greece is not a very good argument.
