I know that. But since I'm the one that screwed up, I wanted to work through it in my own mind. It hadn't occurred to me that there was more than one configuration in the betting rotation that would necessitate setting up side pots. My mistake.
Anyway, the short answer is:
main pot (first pot)
9 = liv - 1; cep - 2; crumb - 2; TJ - 2; Smilin - 2
side pot #1
3 = crumb - 1; TJ - 1; Smilin - 1
side pot #2
58 = TJ - 29; Smilin - 29
And you're right, the result is the same, because Smilin's hand beat everyone else's. 58+3+9=70, which was Smilin's haul.
