At work when everyone was discussing what they had watched on tv the night before, I mentioned that I had watched episodes of Felix The Cat ~
The wonderful, wonderful cat!
and a co-worker that I'll refer to as "DD" says.... "Cartoons?? How old are you??"
I responded, "When I'm not watching cartoons, I'm reading about neuroscience. What do you read about when you're not watching sports?"
While he was still busy trying to wrap his big mouth and little mind around the word "neuroscience", I followed up with, "Do you know what an amygdala is... never mind.. you don't know how to spell it or know what it is."
He had finally came up with a reponse by the time I got back to my desk, which was, "Neuroscience is for sissies!"
