I remember when Hillary Clinton was the "corrupt" one.
Because, like... people associated with her charity asked for diplomatic passports and then didn't get them. And she had a private server. And she gave paid speeches to many organizations, including a Wall Street firm. And she attempted to intervene on behalf of a Nobel Prize winner.
Unfortunately, there wasn't anything interesting for the NY Times to investigate regarding the Trump Foundation, so they needed to write many articles about the "clouds" surrounding the Clinton Foundation. (WaPo might have found a nugget or two during the campaign though.)
