Obviously, otherwise a story about the NFL doing something political wouldn't have been posted.
Besides, when one lives in a democratic republic, one should care about others' political thoughts, otherwise one places themselves in a bubble of non-reality, iow, a circle jerk, which will distort one's expectations for their experiences in life, thus setting themselves up for sadness and depression.
