I think lisaurea must look like someone who is in desperate need of a kitchen remodel (and who among us isn't?) and the very compassionate and helpful sales person(s) is just empathically responding to her silent cry for help.
Mrs. Pea, admitting that you have a problem is the first step to solving the problem. Home Depot wants to help you make that step.
