How many people on this message board actually consider themselves communists, anyway? Lots of socialists or anarchists, but the only person here I can think of who's identified as a communist is Caligulette, who hasn't posted in awhile, sadly. (And I don't believe she's ever advocated a Soviet-style system, either.)

Making America Great Again turns out to be a lot harder than it looks. It's not just going on television ...

I saw a good piece a few days ago about how this administration, for all that it complains about the "fake news media", is to historically unprecedented extents a creation of the media. Nearly everything it does seems calculated in terms of media response. I wish I'd saved the link.

(There have also, of course, been pieces written about how Fox & Friends seems like interactive television for a specific four-year-old, namely the president*. I apologise to four-year-olds everywhere for the libellous comparison.)
